The Boksburg North police are investigating a case of business robbery after a self-storage unit in Bartlett was robbed on September 2.
According to Boksburg North police spokesperson Const Justice Ramaube, one of the two suspects, who were let inside the business premises after pretending to enquire about the storage units, pulled out a gun and told the staff to lie down in one of the offices.
“About 13 suspects then entered the premises in a white truck and started to load boxes containing valuable items inside the truck.
“After loading the items, the suspects fled the scene in a silver Toyota Corolla and the truck, which had no registration number,” said Ramaube.
Anyone with information about the robbery can phone the police on 011 960 0100, 071 675 6986 or 08600 10111.
