Good support for SANBS at Impala Park market
The market is a great opportunity for a family outing.
Residents of Boksburg and surrounding areas donated blood during the R and S Market held at the Impala Park Pre-Primary field on September 4.
The market, which takes place every month, focuses on a theme and for the month of September, the theme was Give a Gift of Life.
While some locals took some time out to donate blood, some used the opportunity to shop for spring garments while listening to music and buying food.
Spotted donating blood, Thea Joubert of Germiston told the Advertiser she was donating blood for the 117th time.

Another donor, Jannie Watkins of Witfield, said he was donating blood for the 47th time.
Meanwhile, the organiser of the market, Rene Marais, said during the market they also honoured the first responders who have been at the forefront of the pandemic.
Security companies such as Makopane, SWS, Pro Ethnos Fire and Rescue Training, Legendary Guardians, AfriForum, CPF and many others attended the event.
“We would like to thank Titen Security for sponsoring the event,” said Marais.
In June, the organisers of the market collected pet food for animal shelters based in Boksburg and surrounding areas.
