Rotary’s Business Network launched
The next business meeting will take place on September 21 at Rodrigos Restaurant in North Rand Road.
To afford local businessmen and women the opportunity to network and increase their business contacts, incoming Rotary Club of Boksburg president Derek Fox launched the Rotary Business Network on September 7 at the Round Table’s Club House in Parkdene.
The business meeting, which started at 17:30 was attended by like-minded business individuals from Boksburg and other areas.
According to Fox, because Rotary has seven areas of focus, including building and supporting the local economy, the club kick-started these business meetings to boost the economy by inviting business people to share ideas and grow.
“The meetings will be held bi-monthly and the next meeting will be held at Rodrigos Restaurant in North Rand Road on September 21. By hosting these meetings at these venues, we also want to support local businesses,” said Fox.
