More birthday celebrations for Witfield Park

The time capsule will be opened on the village’s 60th birthday.

Resident Joey Lombard submitted a white necklace and JM Wienand chose the Rupert 100 Annual Book.

In celebration of Residents Trans 50 Witfield Park Retirement Village’s 50th birthday, residents and staff members submitted personal non-perishable items on September 15 for a time capsule.

Participants handed in items such as jewellery, books and knit work. The items will be put in a time capsule that will be opened on the village’s 60th birthday.

This is one many fun activities Witfield Park planned to commemorate its milestone birthday.
