Ekurhuleni takes Covid-19 vaccines to the voting stations

This is part of the City’s way of getting more people vaccinated against the virus.

The Ekurhuleni Health District will be setting up vaccination sites to administer Covid-19 vaccines at some of the voting stations in the City of Ekurhuleni on November 1.

MMC for Health and Social Services Clr Nomadlozi Nkosi said the City was availing every opportunity for people of Ekurhuleni to vaccinate.

“Lest we forget, Covid-19 is still in our midst and we need to do everything in our power to fight this pandemic.
“Our mandate as the health team is clear. It’s to reach out to as many residents to ensure that many receive their Covid-19 vaccine to help their bodies develop immunity to the virus,” said Nkosi.

Below is a list of identified Boksburg voting stations where the health team will set up the pop-up vaccination sites:
• Parkdene Primary School, 14 MC Gaghey Street
• Van Dyk Primary School, 1061 Keurboom Street van Dyk Dark.
