Make their Christmas parties memorable
Local organisations are appealing for help to make their Christmas celebrations a success.
The Christmas season is upon us and as we all know, it is a time for giving.
In light of this, two organisations in Windmill Park and Villa Liza are appealing to the public to bring cheer to their beneficiaries by fulfilling their Christmas party wish list.
Windmill Park-based organisation Masizakhe Family Centre’s wish list includes a donation of R50 for each child to have a meal at its Christmas party celebration on November 27. They are also appealing for a jumping castle to entertain the children on the day. The NPO and takes care of the elderly and children in the area.
Philasande Community Centre’s wish list includes school uniform, school bags, school shoes or festive season clothes.
The beneficiaries are aged between three and 18. Philasande is a drop-in centre for vulnerable children, children from child-headed families and pregnant teens and they are hosting their Christmas party on December 11.
