Robbers plunder Guess at The Palm Centre

Nobody was injured during the robbery.

Four armed robbers, including two women, allegedly stormed into the Guess Store at The Palms Centre on Thursday afternoon (January 20) and fled with clothing and thousands of rands.

According to Boksburg North spokesperson Const Justice Ramaube, police were told the suspects manhandled staff members while demanding money from the tills. The suspects allegedly spoke Zulu with a Zimbabwean accent.

“A 32-year-old victim also alleged to have been on duty when one of the suspects pointed a gun at her while the other three male suspects pushed the other staff members to the back of the storeroom. The women suspects took the clothing and put in a white bag before they fled,” said Ramaube.

Police are investigating a case of business robbery.

Nobody was injured and no shots were fired. Boksburg Norh SAPS is appealing to community members to come forward with any information that could lead to the apprehension of the suspects.
