
Sexual assault
A 37-year-old woman told police she was gang-raped after she and her ex-boyfriend were ambushed by three men at a property on Commissioner Street in the Boksburg CBD on January 23.
According to Boksburg SAPS spokesperson Sgt Ntsako Ledwaba, the men, described as three African males, arrived at the property in a silver Toyota Etios and started arguing with her ex-boyfriend over R2 000 they said he owed them.
They dragged the victim into one of the rooms, where they took turns raping her before leaving the scene.
• Police are investigating another case of sexual assault after a mother was, on January 28, informed that her daughter was sexually abused by a man known to the family.
The attack reportedly recently happened at the girl’s home in Parkrand.
Break-in
A Sunward Park resident returned from holiday on January 30 to find that thieves had broken into his home on Sonskyn Road and stole valuable goods.
The stolen items include a TV, iPhone and computer. It appeared that the intruders forced open one of the doors to gain entry.

• A resident of Blue Sky informal settlement returned home on January 29 to find that thieves have forced their way into her shack and stole goods, including a TV, DVD player, stove and clothing.
