The Boksburg SPCA is appealing to the community to donate dog food, as the society’s food stocks are critically low.
According to manager Vicky Finnemore, the society will appreciate it if community members can contribute a bag or two of dog pellets or tinned food.
She highlighted the society is also in need of blankets, even second-hand, to keep its furry friends warm during the fast-approaching winter.
Monetary donations are also welcome.
