Boksburg North SAPS, in conjunction with the EMPD, apprehended five men in Boksburg North on March 25 for driving under the influence of alcohol during a shutdown station operation.
According to Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson Const Justice Ramaube, the suspects are in their 30s and 40s.
Police are investigating cases of driving under the influence and it is unclear when the suspects will appear in court.
Ramaube explained the main objective of the operation is to prevent crime in the station’s policing precinct.
