Cyrilique Koopman (13) from Reiger Park has been announced as a semi-finalist for Miss Teen Universe South Africa 2023.
The beauty queen said she is overwhelmed and proud about making it to the semi-finals.
“I’m planing on doing community projects, such as a food drive and stationery drive.
“As a semi-finalist, I want to empower young girls and narrow down teenage pregnancy.
“My mum and I have started a modelling campaign called Excellency Models to empower teenagers and make them know the power of self-worth and self-respect. I want to work hard, so my success makes noise.”
