The 16-year-old learner at Boksburg High School said she was working around the clock to make the finals.
“I entered the competition because I want to help young girls build their confidence. We are influenced by social media, and as a result, we lose confidence in who we are.
“I want to help put a stop to that and give them hope because I want young girls to see a reflection of themselves in me.”
