Senior golfers welcome spring in style

The Ekurhuleni Senior Women’s Golf ladies welcomed spring in style, taking to the fairways dressed in pink shirts, white shorts and sporting their spring hats during their monthly competition at Pollak Park Golf Club, in Springs, on September 12.

Sonja Louw and Alta Verster emerged the winners after scoring 43 points while Barbara Collett and Sarah Green were runners-up with 41 points.

Gina Venter and Marlise Ferreira were in third place after accumulating 40 points.

The next competition is at Benoni Country Club on October 9.
