Lotus Karate Club chief instructor sensei Raveen Dayaram said he was happy with his students’ performances in the Baobab All-Style Kata tournament in Montana, Pretoria, on October 14.
Although they had a tough outing, returning with only four silver medals for kata, Dayaram said it was a learning curve for the karatekas.
“The club is proud of all the students who participated in Pretoria. They performed well,” he said.
Precious Tshedzi, Zaniqua Joyce, Kristhi Singh and Sadidhi Singh were the medal recipients.
The sensei said the club was looking for students and those interested in karate should call him on 072 698 7272.
