City of Ekurhuleni non-essential service over the festive season

The City of Ekurhuleni notifies citizens and ratepayers that as of December 27, municipal facilities and offices that offer non-essential services will be closed until January 2.

Pay points, rates halls, libraries, administrative offices, and certain clinics will all be impacted by the shutdown.

Residents who require medical attention over the break are advised to visit the hospitals and community healthcare (CHC) centres, which are open 24/7.
It is recommended that residents use the numbers below in case of an emergency or disruption of service:
Life-threatening emergency line – 011 458 0911 or 10177 or 112 from mobile phones
Municipal services call centre – 0860 543 000

Additionally, residents are advised to use the online rate payment portal Siyakhokha at www.siyakhokha.ekurhuleni.gov.za and to pay their municipal accounts on time.

Phola Park Community Health Centre, Jabulane Dumane Community Health Centre Jabulane Dumane Community Health Centre, Ramokonopi Community Health Centre, Daveyton Main Community Day Centre, Kwa-Thema Community Health Centre, Nokuthela Ngwenya Community Health Centre, Phillip Moyo Community Health Centre and Esangweni Community Health Centre.
Hospitals
Bertha Gxowa Hospital, Tambo Memorial Hospital, Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital, Far East Rand Hospital, Pholosong Hospital and Thembisa Hospital.
