“The athletes are training very hard and pushing themselves to their limits. We wish them all the best at SAKA Gauteng Kickboxing champs.”

Six kickboxers from the United Martial Arts Kickboxing (UMAK) Benoni club will represent Ekurhuleni during the South African Kickboxing Association (SAKA) Gauteng provincial kickboxing championship at John Barrable Hall on February 24.

The kickboxers earned their regional colours after successfully participating in the Ekurhuleni district kickboxing champs on February 3.

They will take part in different styles including pointfighting, light contact and kick-light.

“The athletes are training very hard and pushing themselves to their limits. We wish them all the best at SAKA Gauteng Kickboxing champs,” said UMAK chief instructor and President of SAKA sensei Aslam Mahomed.
