The Owls will take on Elsburg Rugby Club at PG Park on April 20.

The Boksburg Rugby Club is back on track after defeating Kempton Park Rugby Club in a President’s League match at the Barnard Stadium on April 13.

The Owls’ performance was significantly better than the previous week when they lost 66-12 against Vereeniging Rugby Club at PG Park.

The club’s chairperson, Renier Mostert, said he was proud of the team’s performance.

“Their dedication, resilience, and skill were outstanding, resulting in a fantastic victory. Our players exemplify teamwork and sportsmanship; this win is a testament to their hard work. Congratulations to our players, coaches, and supporters for their unwavering passion and support,” said Mostert.

He said the club must continue to aim for greatness and uphold its proud traditions.

“Additionally, on behalf of Boksburg Rugby Club, I extend our gratitude to Kempton Park Rugby Club for their hospitality and sportsmanship during both games. We wish them all the best for the 2024 season,” he concluded.
