Dawn Park SAPS host fitness programme

The provincial aerobics fitness programme is part of the SAPS's ongoing efforts to prioritise the well-being of its officers.

Dawn Park SAPS hosted an aerobics fitness programme for members from across Gauteng at Boksburg Correctional Services on April 24 in a bid to promote health and wellness among officers.

Station spokesperson Sergeant Nkemeleng Mabula said the aim was to help keep officers fit and healthy.
“Provincial aerobics is something we do every month, but we change the venues.

Fitness and wellness were promoted at the provincial aerobics programme.

“The participating officers showed remarkable strength, resilience and teamwork during the fitness session,” Mabula said.

Police officers showcased strength and teamwork at Boksburg Correctional Services aerobics event.

She explained the programme is not only about physical fitness but also serves to build trust and a stronger working relationship between officers, as well as to be a reminder that health and wellness should be part of a daily lifestyle.
