The club will field three divisions in the league – U13, U15 and U17 – while their senior team tops the standings in its division.

“Our club is thrilled to be part of this league. It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of our players, coaches and support staff,” said chairperson Mohammed Lawal.

“We see this as a fantastic opportunity for our young talents to showcase their abilities and grow as athletes.

“The Ekurhuleni Gold One Development League, which has committed to nurturing young talent and promoting grassroots soccer, provides an invaluable platform for players to hone their skills and compete at a high level.

“For Future of Africa, the opportunity to be a part of this exciting league signifies a significant milestone in their journey towards excellence, it also broadens the horizon for welcomed competition from across Ekurhuleni.”

The chairperson hopes his junior teams replicate the success already enjoyed by their U19 team, adding the club is poised to make a strong impression when the season starts.

The club also plans to start a team dedicated to empowering young girls aged U9 to ladies U23.

Their home games are held at the ACSA sporting grounds in Atlas Road.
