Boksburg North Clinic engages with residents at open day
The event provided an opportunity for nearby stakeholders to engage with the community and raise awareness about their own services.
Boksburg North Clinic held its annual open day on October 24, an initiative aimed at promoting the various health services they render to the public.
The event provided an opportunity for nearby stakeholders to engage with the community and raise awareness about their services.
Participants and organisers also wore green to advocate for mental health awareness as part of the initiative.
Among those present were representatives from the DSD, Home Affairs, and organisations addressing GBV, along with a host of other key stakeholders.

According to Sandra Mufamadi, the clinic’s facility manager, the day is in line with recommendations from the National Department of Health and Quality Assurance, designed to remind patients about the services offered by the clinic.
“This provides an opportunity for the community to know and understand how our clinic operates.
“The turnout was excellent, and it gives us pride to know that the community trusts us,” said Mufamadi.
Mufamadi said Ward 22 Clr Madelaine Muller, although absent from the event, made a generous contribution by donating essential food items for the day which benefited a lot.
“We deeply appreciate the support and would like to extend our thanks to the community.
The successful event served to strengthen the relationship between the clinic and its surrounding community, reinforcing the importance of accessible and comprehensive healthcare,” said Mufamadi.
