Dedicated cop wins provincial recognition
This achievement is a milestone for Sergeant Mudzuli because it is his first win in this category at the provincial level.
Sergeant Lufuno Mudzuli of the Reiger Park SAPS again demonstrated his exceptional dedication to duty by receiving the Vispol and operations employee of the year award at the Gauteng Provincial Excellence Awards in Krugersdorp on November 8.
According to the spokesperson of the police station, Constable Johannes Msimanga, this achievement is a milestone for Mudzuli because it is his first win in this category at the provincial level.
“It follows his previous success last year when he was honoured at the Ekurhuleni district level. Mudzuli’s leadership and tireless efforts have earned him accolades and inspired his colleagues and the community.
His dedication to serving the community is commendable, showing his commitment to excellence in law enforcement,” said Msimanga.

He added that in addition to this accolade, Mudzuli was recognised as the first runner-up for man of the year 2024, further underscoring his impact in the SAPS.
“Mudzuli’s selflessness, integrity and passion for justice have earned him respect and admiration from his peers and the community.
The recognition serves as a reminder of the positive influence dedicated law enforcement officers can have on their communities.
“His achievements reflect personal success and a broader commitment to enhancing public safety and fostering trust in law enforcement,” added Msimanga.
Mudzuli was grateful for the recognition, “I love what I do and love serving the community. This award means so much to me and motivates me to push harder and continue giving my best.”
