Take note of Hospice’s festive shutdown dates

Patient care will continue throughout the festive period.

With the year drawing to close, Hospice East Rand would like to inform the community that those considering registering for its palliative care services must do so by no later than December 20.
“Our dedicated admin and medical staff have gone above and beyond to ensure that our patients, received quality care throughout the year,” said the organisation’s media liaison, Jonquil Siepman.
“In order to afford these caring individuals the opportunity to rest and recharge before heading into the new year, the last day for new patient intake will be on December 20, with operations resuming again on January 6.”
Siepman continued by saying that Hospice East Rand’s medical team will continue to provide full support to all existing patients, ensuring that their needs are met throughout the festive season.
