Lezette Vermaak claimed the April bragging rights after winning this month’s Ekurhuleni Senior Women’s Golf (ESWG) title at Benoni Lake Club on April 7.
Vermaak collected 40 points for her victory, with Sonja Louw claiming the runner-up spot with 39 points. Noreen Hughes rounded-up the podium with 35 points.
Toula Arnold was sixth with 35 points and Martie Becker completed the top five with 34 points. Patricia Swarts fell a point outside the top five after finishing sixth with 33 points.
The event saw 78 ladies on the green, with the hosting club, Benoni Lake Club ladies, donating two raffles on the day.
“Well done ladies on your excellent results. The assistance and hospitality of the Lake Club ladies was outstanding. We all had a great day,” said ESWG chairperson, Charmaine Stone.
