St Dom’s debutants shine in charity drive

St Dominic’s extended heartfelt congratulations to all participants, praising them for embodying the school’s ethos of generosity and service.

Over the past few months, St Dominic’s Grade 10 girls have embraced the spirit of service through the school’s long-standing debutantes programme – a cherished tradition dedicated to raising funds for charity and uplifting the community.

Through months of creativity, teamwork, and determination, the debutantes worked tirelessly to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. Their collective efforts culminated in remarkable fundraising achievements, reflecting both compassion and commitment.

The main charities that benefited from the programme are The Almond Tree, TLC Children’s Home and St Francis Care Centre.

Leading the initiative with unwavering dedication was Nicole van Gemert, whose guidance and encouragement inspired the girls throughout their journey.

“Your compassion and hard work have made a real impact. We are so proud of all our debutantes for embodying the spirit of service and generosity,” said the school’s marketing manager, Sharon Antonizzi.

This year’s top fundraisers were celebrated for their exceptional efforts:
Miss Debutante – Tanica de Freitas
1st Princess – Lenita Lavos
2nd Princess – Gabriella Romeynders
