Department intensifies efforts to repair traffic lights

Here’s how you can report faulty traffic lights at major intersections.

The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport has committed to intensifying its efforts to repair faulty traffic lights.

Taking note of the high volume of faulty and damaged traffic lights along provincial routes, such as those located on Great North and Atlas roads, the department is calling on motorists, commuters and residents to report these intersections.

Reports of outages will help authorities promptly prioritise repairs and maintenance.
Report affected intersections to Khutso Motome on 076 908 5615, email Khutso.motome@gauteng.gov.za or download the PotholeFix app.
Note that only reports affecting roads that fall under the provincial government’s jurisdiction will be attended to.
