Parkrand resident Nontokozo Nkosi is calling on the community to support her as she continues her journey in the Miss Teen Universe SA (MTUSA) pageant.

The young model was crowned Miss Pre-Teen Charm South Africa at the seventh edition of the Miss Teen Universe SA and Miss Pre-Teen SA pageant during a ceremony held in Polokwane in March, marking a major milestone in her growing career.

Balancing school, personal development and her pageant commitments, Nontokozo said the experience has already had a powerful impact on her life.

“As a teenager still navigating school, identity and personal growth, this opportunity has given me a sense of purpose, academic motivation and a platform to inspire others,” she said.

“This is the beginning of a new era in my life. I want to use this platform to encourage young girls to follow their dreams and become the change they want to see in the world.”

As she prepares for upcoming appearances, community initiatives and the next phase of the competition, Nontokozo is appealing for support to help cover costs and continue her development.

Community backing, she believes, will play a vital role in helping her represent Parkrand with pride on a bigger stage.
