Matrics of 2026, you are standing on the cusp of closing the chapter on your high school career and you final rite of passage awaits.

We want to share in one of the most memorable nights of your lives – your matric dance!

Send your picture perfect pics to jani@caxton.co.za as an attachment in JPEG format before October 23, at noon.

Info to include:

• You and your partner’s names and surnames.
• What school you attend.
• When and where your MD was hosted.
• Name of the photographer if professionally taken photos are submitted.
• Note only learners from Boksburg schools will be featured and no late submissions will be accepted.

Jani went from working as a student intern for the Boksburg Advertiser to being employed as a junior journalist in 2004. Taking time out to start a family, she returned to the Caxton family in 2022 as senior journalist for the Benoni City Times. Her passion is telling her community's stories.
