Members from Ekurhuleni Crime Intelligence, in conjunction with Boksburg North SAPS, SAPS Gauteng mounted unit, K9 unit and highway patrol paid a visit to Sion Private Academy’s Clearwater Campus on September 20 to address crime-related issues.
According to Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson Constable Justice Ramaube, the objective of the day was to educate learners and build a relationship with the school.
The initiative kicked off with police officers educating learners about bullying and drugs, among other things.
Later on, the police conducted an interesting kidnapping and carjacking scenario. In the display, police demonstrated how they catch up and arrest criminals.
Furthermore, learners enjoyed seeing the police horses and dogs.
