The Reiger Park SAPS is still investigating a case of murder and attempted murder after a shooting incident involving an off-duty police officer.
The shooting, in which a man was killed, took place in Reiger Park on January 8.
According to the provincial SAPS spokesperson, Colonel Dimakatso Sello, it is alleged that three men, one of them an off-duty police officer, had an argument that led to the shooting.
“They took out guns and fired shots at one another. All three were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds. One succumbed to his injuries at the hospital and died.”
