Woman dies after falling from balcony at local restaurant
The woman later succumbed to her injuries at Thello Mogoerane Regional.
An inquest docket was opened after a woman in her 30s died after she reportedly fell off a balcony at Live@Wildebeest in the early hours of April 15.
According to Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Justice Ramaube, the woman suffered head injuries in the incident. She later succumbed to her injuries at Thello Mogoerane Regional Hospital.
The police pointed out that the tragic incident came after the woman had recently lost her mother who reportedly died on her birthday.
The Advertiser approached Wildebeest for comment, and the business responded: “In consideration of and in respect for the family and loved ones of the deceased and the pending investigation by SAPS, Live@Wildebeest cannot at this stage provide any comment in relation to the incident.
“However, Wildebeest extends its sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.”
