Woman nabbed for possession of stolen car, ammunition
She was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of unlicensed ammunition.
Members of the EMPD Intervention and Specialized Services units pounced on a 33-year-old woman, who was found in possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle and possession of unlicensed ammunition, in Boksburg North.
Officers were on December 3 conducting law enforcement duties at night along Rietfontein Road where they pulled a white VW Golf GTI, driven by the woman, over.
The members searched the car and discovered the ammunition. Further investigations revealed that the car was reportedly stolen from the Johannesburg area.
The woman was thereupon arrested suspect arrested and taken to the Boksburg North SAPS. She was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of unlicensed ammunition.
