Motorbike delivery driver shot, hijacked in Witfield
Police are appealing for the community to come forward with regards to the hijacking.
A man was shot and robbed of his delivery bike at the corner of Main Reef and Main roads on the evening of January 4.
According to Boksburg North SAPS station commander Colonel Mack Mngomezulu, the motorbike rider was shot in the arm and leg at about 21:30.
“The shooter and several other suspects then reportedly emerged from the bushes, stole the motorbike and fled back into the bushes. The victim was taken to hospital.”
Police are investigating a case of hijacking.
