Rape of 11-year-old- case resumes
In a show of solidarity with the victim and her family, a group of community members are calling for justice for the girl.
The bail application of a 28-year-old man accused of raping a Boksburg child (11), who is now five months pregnant as a result, is expected to resume today, May 22.
This came after the accused, who may not be identified to protect the minor, appeared for the third time in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court on May 16.
He faces a charge of raping a minor.

The police arrested the man on April 22, and he appeared for the first time in court on April 24.
A group of community members once again protested outside the court yesterday, demanding justice for the girl, who the man allegedly raped in December and when she was six years old.
