Open power box, exposed wires puts pedestrians at risk

The exposed wires dangling loose from the streetlights on Rondebult Road near the N12 Johannesburg southbound on-ramp have become a serious cause for concern for pedestrians and motorist alike.

This publication has reached out to the authorities for comment, however, no response was received at the time of going to press. The exposed wires and open electrical box, which appear to be a switch box of the nearby streetlights, are located on the raised island next to the traffic lights at the intersection.
