City announces 12-hour water outage in Boksburg

The city will provide water tankers to the areas experiencing no water.

The City of Ekurhuleni has announced that 11 Boksburg suburbs will be left without water tomorrow (March 20), as Rand Water scheduled a planned maintenance to repair its Impala Park supply meter.

The maintenance work, scheduled for Thursday from 8:00 to 20:0, will result in low water pressure in some areas, while others will experience a complete water outage.

The following areas will be affected:

  • Witkoppie Ridge
  • Impala Park
  • Bartlett
  • Bardene
  • Beyerspark
  • Westwood
  • Ravenswood
  • Anderbolt
  • Dunswart
  • Atlasville and
  • Parkhaven.

The city promised to provide water tankers to the areas experiencing no water. And customers are encouraged to use water sparingly.

The city apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
