Church spoils women and children at Mercy Haven

Mercy Haven offers emergency accommodation for abused women and children.

In commemoration of Women’s Month, Christian Family Church Johannesburg (CFC) donated pamper packs to the women at Mercy Haven and lucky packets and toys to the children on August 13.

Mercy Haven was one of four beneficiaries the church supported, including Bethesda, The House group and Frida Hartley.

Pastor Felicity Baadjies explained CFC members made the contribution possible thanks to their generosity.

Centre manager Maria Pereira expressed her gratitude to the church for the donations.

“This donation will go a long way to uplift the women at Mercy Haven. CFC is constantly providing us with means to assist the women and children,” said Pereira.
