Tee off for Oosrand Secondary

Golfers and sponsors are invited to support the initiative.

Oosrand Secondary School will be hosting its fifth annual golf day at the ERPM Golf Course on September 25.

The fundraising event will kick off at 11:00 from both tees.
Golfers, businesses, former Oosrand learners, friends of the school and others are invited to be a part of the day to help raise funds for the school.

“We offer businesses and individuals the opportunity to sponsor a hole or to bring players on the day.
“The cost per four-ball is R2 000 and per person is R500,” explained one of the event organisers, Lester du Preez.
The prize-giving will start at 18:00 and there will be raffles and prizes.

According to du Preez, Oosrand Secondary is partly funded by the government and the fundraiser provides a supplement to help close the wide gap between the government funding and the actual cost to run the school.
Anybody wanting to book a four-ball, sponsor a hole or gift some prizes for the day may contact Lester on 073 707 6855 or Ruwayne Jooste on 083 952 0101.
