Help St Francis this September

St Francis Care Centre is a registered NPO, which caters to dozens of vulnerable children and adults, most of them suffering from threatening and/or life-limiting conditions.

The St Francis Care Centre recently shared its wish list for September and appealed to community members to support them.

They are looking for groceries and cleaning products, including washing powder, refuse bags, Jik, Domestos, dishwashing liquid, air freshener, insect repellent, tea, sugar, coffee, long-life milk, Cremora, eggs, Maizena, brown onion soup powder, Bisto, spices (chicken, BBQ, curry), chutney, salt, fresh veggies, tomato sauce, cooking oil, oats and Maltabella porridge.

The Rainbow Cottage needs baby formula (Lactogen 1, 2 and 3), Novalac AR2 (2), baby porridge, Purity and nappies (2, 3 and 4), baby wet wipes and tissues, mattresses for cot beds and mattress protectors.

The needs of the adult in-patient unit include disposable aprons/gloves (medium), masks, linen savers, linen and bedding for adult beds and mattresses, mattress protectors, pillow cases and medical gloves.

General needs are A4 printing paper, black/red pens, paint and undercoat for maintenance, and anything that can be sold at their charity shop.

The centre is also in need of financial assistance (banking details issued on request).

If you can help the centre, contact 011 894 4151.
