Get screened for diabetes for free at Healthworx
The main objective of the screening is to raise health awareness.
In light of National Diabetes Month that is celebrated in November, Healthworx Boksburg at East Rand Retail Park is holding a free diabetes screening day on November 23.
It is a glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol screening, which will take place from 09:00 until 15:30.
According to practice manager Santie Pretorius, they will hand out flyers in the centre’s parking area for people to hand in to get screened free of charge.
Pretorius added the day will be supported by Lancet and the SANBS.
