Local shoppers happy about Black Friday bargains
The annual shopping tradition has seen many retailers cutting prices on a range of products, prompting hundreds of shoppers to flock to the different stores to help themselves to bargains.
As Black Friday kicked off on November 25, The Boksburg Advertiser visited a few local shopping centres to capture some of the shopping spree activities.
Apart from long queues at major sports outlets at the East Point Shopping Centre and East Rand Mall, local shopping centres were relatively quiet.
Officers from the Boksburg North SAPS were also seen keeping an eye on the situation at the malls.
