Little pageant queen proud of her awards
Williams takes home eight crowns at the Pageant Festival SA.
Four-year-old Zara Williams from Boksburg took home eight crowns at the Pageant Festival SA, which took place on April 29.
She competed in a series of competitions with nine other contestants.
The newcomer to the industry felt no pressure when competing on stage, according to her mother, Chanre.
“My daughter is very passionate about modelling. She was intrigued by an expo we went to at Carnival City and immediately told me she wants to enter pageants. I entered her into the Pageant Festival SA.”

One of the crowns that little Zara won was the Disney Princess Award, for her costume.
“She was dressed as the Disney princess Mulan and performed some martial arts moves and held a sword to coincide with the Mulan theme,” her mother said.
Some of her other awards include Miss Social Butterfly, Photogenic Award and Miss Gauteng North Winner.
“This is only the beginning for Zara. She said she would love to do more and compete more and I am willing to support her,” said Chanre.
