Boksburg’s Lee-Ann Naidoo is vying for Mrs Grand SA crown

With gorgeous hair, a million-dollar smile and a heart of gold, it is no wonder multi-talented Lee-Ann Naidoo from Boksburg North is a Mrs Grand South Africa 2023 finalist.

The business owner and magazine food editor explained she decided to enter the competition as her purpose is not to empower women but to take empowered women and make them impactful.

“The fact that I started with nothing after Covid-19 and created the life I have today shows that with tenacity and courage, we can face every challenge as an opportunity to learn, grow and evolve to our true selves with purpose.

I believe the platform will be perfect for what I am trying to achieve in this life by meeting like-minded women and going way beyond my comfort zone.

I’m challenging myself to see how far I can go.

“The sky is the limit and with a strong tribe of women, we rise in the hands of our sisters,” said the beauty queen.

Naidoo highlighted charity and community work are some of the requirements of the pageant. She is involved with Emerge Foundation, Warriors with a Purpose and Jason’s Angels.

“Gender-based violence is something close to my heart as eight years ago it ended my first marriage and I am a survivor.”

Family
The mother of three explained family will always come first to her.

“The juggle is real and the struggles of time management and load-shedding are daunting, but I’m happy to accept the challenges of daily life. I do utilise a life coach and meditation daily to ground myself and try to live in the moment by being present.

I also have the love and support of my amazing husband who is always ready to assist me when I fall short.
