Boksburg North SAPS excels at awards ceremony

This event acknowledges the men and women in blue, including support staff, reservists and community policing forums.

The recent Ekurhuleni District Excellence Awards in Germiston recognised Boksburg North SAPS officers and staff.

This annual event acknowledges the men and women in blue, including support staff, reservists and community policing forums, who displayed extraordinary excellence and commitment in the execution of their daily duties.

Recognised for her contribution, Madeline du Preez from the Boksburg North detective branch won the award for the best admin person.
Warrant Officer Phina Matwetja won the women of the year award and was runner-up for level eight to 12 employees.

The award for the best CPF in the district went to the Boksburg North CPF.

Patience Fasasi was the runner-up for the woman of the year award.
The station’s Vispol unit won the runner-up award for the best Vispol group.

Boksburg North SAPS station commander Colonel Mack Mngomezulu congratulated the winners.
“This group has put our station on the map.”
