Where you can donate blood on November 11 in Boksburg
According to the SANBS's website, blood stocks significantly low.
The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is calling on community members to support its upcoming mobile blood drives.
Blood supply is in high demand in the festive season, which is why the blood bank needs donors to roll up their sleeves soon.
Members of the SANBS will be ready to assist the donors at the following mobile donor centres on November 11:
• East Rand Toyota, corner Sydney and North Rand roads, 09:00 to 14:00.
• Pick n Pay Ravenswood, Trichardts Road, 11:00 to 16:00.
Donors must meet the minimum criteria for donating blood, which are as follows:
• Weigh at least 50kg.
• Be between the ages of 16 and 65.
• Be in good health.
• Leading a sexually safe lifestyle.
• Consider your blood safe for transfusion.
• You may only donate every 56 days.
