Help young dancer’s dreams come true
The eight-year-old began dancing at the age of two and ventured into competitive dancing at six.

Gianna Claire Petersen, an aspiring dancer from Boksburg, has been selected as part of the South African team representing the country in the Talent America competition in New York from June 25 to July 5.
The eight-year-old began dancing at the age of two and ventured into competitive dancing at six, earning provincial and national colours during this time.
She excels in various genres, particularly contemporary, acrobatics and jazz.
Gianna boasts multiple medals, including gold, platinum, and diamond. Dance International honoured her with a special ‘Born to Entertain’ trophy.
Additionally, she was chosen to represent South Africa in Serbia and under the Talent Africa competition in New York in 2022.
Gianna could not go to New York because of financial constraints. She was again selected to represent South Africa this year.
The aspirant dancer needs funds for her participation in New York.

Peterson explained she was passionate about dancing as it allows her to express herself.
