Continuing to make a difference in the community, The Humanity Foundation embarked on a food drive called Shop & Drop at the Atlas Mall on October 5.
The foundation’s founding member and chairperson, Pierre Marneweck, explained that they collected two trolleys full of non-perishables and pet food donations on the day.
There was also entertainment in the form of DJ Llyndo playing soothing background music and a performance by the Woodlands International College’s marimba band.
Marneweck added that the foundation was pleased that Healing Hugs Therapy Dogs also joined.
“The gorgeous Golden retrievers certainly stole the show,” he said.
The founder thanked those who came and generously supported the organisation and everyone else who contributed to the successful drive, including the SUPERSPAR and the Wimpy at the Atlas Mall.
“We are happy with the drive’s outcome.”
Marneweck explained the foundation would sort the food and donate it to the NPOs the organisation supports.
“The Humanity Foundation assists NPOs to allow them to do what they do best.”
