Bring some Christmas cheer for the furry friends at Boksburg SPCA
Community members can support the Cheer Fund until the end of the first week of January.

The Boksburg SPCA urges the community to support its annual Christmas Cheer Fund, which started on November 1 and runs until the end of the first week of January.
Last year, the society exceeded its goal of raising R100 000 by R44 653, thanks to the support of the community.
These donations helped the SPCA to sterilise animals and embark on a kennel re-roofing project, among other initiatives.
Again this year, the Boksburg SPCA aims to raise R100 000 through the Christmas Cheer Fund. The fund’s purpose is to raise money to feed the furry critters during the Christmas period when the society finds its kennels overwhelmed, as well as for projects that are yet to be determined.
“We haven’t decided on this year’s projects, but we’re looking into building an adoptions department,” said a representative. The community is encouraged to get involved by honoring past and present pets through donations—no amount is too small.
To donate to the fund, visit the society on Railway Street, Boksburg, or deposit your donation into the bank account:
