Family fun at McDonald’s in Parkdene

The event was about creating family moments.

There was an air of excitement at the recent grand opening of the newly renovated McDonald’s on Leeuwpoort Street in Parkdene, where there was something for the whole family to enjoy.

Portia Nondo, the owner of the branch, explained that the event was about creating wonderful family moments, aligning with McDonald’s core values.

A highlight of the event was a visit from the beloved McDonald’s purple character, Grimace. Community members also had the chance to try the popular Grimace Shake.

Other fun activities at the event included face painting and jumping castles.

Nondo described the event as a success.

“We’ve had customers streaming in since the morning, including many families, which is exactly what it’s all about,” she said.
