Girl guides enjoy complimentary Spur meal

The Benoni Blue Forest Girl Guides expresssed their gratitude to Alaska Spur and the Humanity Foundation for the spoil.

Alaska Spur in Atlasville recently treated a group of The Benoni Blue Forest Girl Guides to a free meal.

Pierre Marneweck, founder of the Humanity Foundation, explained that Spur often spoils organisations, and when the restaurant asked the foundation who to invite, the Girl Guides came to mind.

“These young ladies do so much, sacrifice so much to help, learn, and grow. We take our hats off to them. We had the pleasure of seeing them in action last year when they embarked on making waterproof sleeping bags, and we were entertained by them at their year-end function at the end of 2024. We would like to thank Alaska Spur for the initiative,” said Marneweck.
