Local businesswoman Lesley-Rae shines at 2025 Woman of Stature Awards

Lesley-Rae Coetzer from Boksburg shined at the recent 2025 Woman of Stature Awards held at the Indaba Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre in Fourways, where she brought home two prestigious accolades.
Lesley-Rae was awarded the highly coveted public choice award, a testament to the immense support she garnered from the public. Additionally, she was named the overall winner in the fashion and beauty category, outshining top finalists from across the country.
These awards celebrate excellence, leadership, and impact, values that Coetzer consistently demonstrates through her work in the beauty industry and her passionate advocacy for women’s empowerment and autoimmune disease awareness.
The local businesswoman, mentor, and philanthropist is no stranger to recognition. However, this achievement is especially meaningful, not only for her but for the Boksburg community that has consistently supported her journey.
This year’s awards saw a record-breaking 700 nominations, with 98 finalists shortlisted after a thorough evaluation process audited by MGI RAS, ensuring transparency and fairness.
Charlotte du Plessis, CEO and founder of the Woman of Stature Awards South Africa, reflected on the decade-long journey, stating, “Ten years ago, we set out to create a platform that would elevate, honour, and empower South African women. Tonight, we celebrate the success of that vision and the extraordinary women who have joined us along the way.”
